How it works
- How does Scram know where I parked?
- It uses your iPhone's location, motion and the Bluetooth connection to your car to tell when a drive has ended. Then it saves the spot.
- When will I get reminded?
- Before cleaning starts, as early as you choose. For early-morning cleaning you also get a heads-up the night before.
- Where do the rules come from?
- The City of San Francisco's official street-cleaning schedules and street-sign records. If a posted sign ever disagrees, go with the sign.
- What about my privacy?
- Your location is only used to find where you parked and look up the rules there. Your spot stays on your phone, and we don't collect it.
- What does it cost?
- It's free. There are no ads, subscriptions, or accounts. We're just trying to keep the streets clean.
